Terms of Service and Sale
Details in square brackets will be updated once company registration is complete.
These terms govern the TapOnTable website, panel, short-link and redirect service, smart menu and related services (the "Service") provided by [Company name] ("TapOnTable"). By creating an account you accept these terms.
1. The Service
- Redirects: every coaster or QR code is tied to your own short link, which you can point to your Google review page, website, social media or menu. Redirects are free.
- Smart menu: AI-assisted menu creation, multilingual publishing, menus by time of day and instant updates. This is a paid subscription.
- Analytics: scan statistics in the panel and weekly email reports.
- Coaster orders: sale of NFC and QR coasters, governed by section 9 below.
2. Account
Accounts are opened on behalf of a business. The person opening the account confirms they are authorised to act for the business and that the information provided is accurate. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure.
3. Smart menu subscription and fees
- The smart menu is free for the first 3 months. Before the free period ends, we ask for your confirmation in the panel to move to the paid plan. If you do not confirm, the smart menu stops being published and your redirects keep working for free.
- The monthly fee covers 10,000 menu redirects. Each additional 10,000 redirects adds an extra fee. Current prices, including VAT, are shown on the website and in the panel.
- A menu redirect is a guest opening your menu by tapping a coaster or scanning its QR code. Redirects to Google reviews, websites and social media are not counted.
- Fees are charged monthly to the payment method in your panel. We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance by email, effective from the next billing period.
- Venues that actively use their menu during the free period receive one Google review coaster as a gift, once per business. We may end this offer with prior notice.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the logos, images, menu text and prices you upload and confirm you have the right to publish them. You grant TapOnTable permission to host, process and display this content only to provide the Service. AI suggestions for names, descriptions, allergens and translations are a starting point. The venue is responsible for the accuracy of published information, especially allergens and prices.
5. Fair use and Google's rules
The Service sends all guests to the same review page. Review gating, offering incentives for reviews and collecting fake reviews are prohibited. We may suspend a redirect that breaks these rules.
6. Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available. Short interruptions may occur for maintenance, security updates or third-party infrastructure issues.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, TapOnTable's liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for loss of profit, reputation or indirect damage. Liability for intent and gross negligence is not limited.
8. Termination
You can cancel your subscription in the panel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously breach these terms after giving notice.
9. Terms of sale for coasters
- Seller: [Company name], [Registered address], tax number [Tax number], destek@tapontable.com, [Phone].
- Product: sublimation-printed MDF coaster with an embedded NFC chip and QR code, 87 mm round or 89 mm square. The design, shape, quantity, unit price, shipping fee and total price including VAT are shown before payment and kept in the order summary in your panel.
- Payment: by card when the order is placed.
- Delivery: ready-made designs ship within 2 business days of the order, custom designs within 4 business days of design approval, in all cases within 30 days.
- Right of withdrawal: coasters are printed with your name, logo or design and encoded with your own link, so they are made to your specifications and excluded from the right of withdrawal. Your statutory rights for defective goods are not affected.
- Defects: report printing errors, unreadable NFC chips or QR codes, or broken items within 14 days of delivery with photos. We will remake and resend the items free of charge or refund them. See our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
10. Changes
We announce material changes to these terms at least 30 days before they take effect by email or panel notice.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye and the courts of Istanbul (Çağlayan) have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.
